If Putler offered this as anything else than a joke, however, his mental fitness likely is declining fast. Who wouldnt see though such an obvious trap?
These talks are going to collapse because Witkoff misunderstood what the Russian diplomats told him. He told Trump Russia conceded a bunch of things they never did (Article 5-like security guarantees to Ukraine & Western troops in Ukraine most of all).
I expect after the talks collapse, full NATO sanctions will be put on India (and maybe Brazil) since full sanctions on China would destroy Western economies along with China.
What happens after that is anybody’s guess.
