2. All of this is made possible not just by local politics but by the enabling role of Western powers.

   Without their constant financial backing their diplomatic shielding in international forums and their military support on the ground such regimes could not sustain themselves

   They don’t just “look away” they provide the lifelines that allow authoritarian projects even genocidal programs to continue unchecked.

   Every bomb supplied every loan granted, every veto cast in the UN isn’t neutral it’s complicity.

   The violence is not only local it’s globalized through these networks of support.

4. I’m painfully woke, i’ll never judge a whole group of people, i’ll understand that some don’t have all the information they need or are under social pressures to keep their opinions quiet. No society is a monolith etc. I grew up in Northern Ireland in a republican family and even then with soldiers walking my streets and their various actions, I refused to have an all encompassing opinion of britain. But at what point do I look at more than 70% of a population chill with genocide and not become an anti-Semite through virtue of just hating everything i’ve seen semites do recently, the maps for greater israel, the general opinion of the populace.
