Human safari is a term used to describe a Russian deliberate terror campaign in Kherson, Ukraine. Russian military units, since May 2024, utilize drones to purposefully target Ukrainian civilians during the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Due to these actions, a UN report concluded there was a high probability that the Russian Armed Forces was guilty of murder, forced transfer, terror, attacks on civilians and outrages upon personal dignity which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity. A Human Rights Watch (HRW) report concurred and found Russian armed forces guilty of attacks on civilians, murder and terror as war crimes and crimes against humanity.

  1. I believe I’ve from milblogger Preston Stewart that the Russian Rubikon unit (as a rival of Ukrainean Magyars Birds) train their pilots on Ukrainean civilian targets.

  2. Amazing anyone supports Russia when they actively target civilians…. Commit terrorism.

  3. I guess rules of war don’t apply in the future. Civilians everywhere are actively targeted by militaries and I guess that’s the new norm. I’m so relieved that I’m in my advanced stages of life.

  4. I don’t have words for this horror, and I’m sadly not surprised. This is what Russia has been doing for years and most people turn a blind eye to it.
