Belarus intends to discuss the next steps in modernizing missile
production with Russia, Azernews reports, citing
President Aleksandr Lukashenko, as he announced during a meeting
dedicated to the sector.

“I will consult with Russian President Vladimir Putin on how we
should proceed, as well as on whether our proposals and the next
steps in creating and modernizing missile production within our
union will be of interest to the Russian Federation,” Lukashenko
said.

The Belarusian leader noted that the country has relatively
limited experience in such a complex field as missile
manufacturing. He stressed that the sector itself has largely taken
shape with Russian support.
