Keshav Maharaj took 5 wickets as South Africa defeated Australia by 98 runs to take 1-0 lead in the 3-match series. Travis Head managed to pick up four wickets to restrict South Africa to 296/8 in the first of the three-match ODI series at Cazaly’s Stadium in Cairns on Tuesday. Aiden Markram, Temba Bavuma and Matthew Breetzke chipped in with half-centuries.
