Sydney, 22 August 2025 – St Blaise Bistro has been awarded the OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award for Best Food in Sydney in August 2025.

The Diners’ Choice lists are updated monthly and are based entirely on reviews from verified guests who booked, dined, and shared their feedback through OpenTable.

“Being recognised by the people who actually eat with us means the world,” said Vedran Perojević, chef-owner of St Blaise.

“Our menu is small, seasonal and inspired by Dalmatian tradition—seafood, slow-cooked meats, and the kind of dishes you enjoy slowly with a glass of wine. This award tells us those flavours are connecting.”

St Blaise is currently the only Croatian restaurant in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, offering an authentic Dalmatian konoba experience.

While Croatian cuisine is still not widely recognised around the world, this award is an important step in putting Croatian gastronomy on the map.

Winning such recognition in Sydney, a global food capital with thousands of restaurants, represents a huge achievement for Croatia and its culinary traditions.
