It makes sense.  Trump is not actually tough, he delusional because he’s a narcissist.  So he picks every fight because he thinks he can win.  And when you don’t back down he has to get out of that situation as quickly as possible, so he backs down and retreats.  Then soothes himself by taking advantage of helpless girls.
