A homicide investigation is underway following the death of a woman in Brisbane’s north overnight.
Authorities were called to an address on Osprey Place in Taigum about 12:30am on Saturday after reports a woman had been found unresponsive.
The 47-year-old woman had sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Officers attended an address in McDowall a short time later and located a 52-year-old man.
The man is assisting police in their inquiries.
Crime scenes have been established at both locations.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with information has been urged to come forward.
