  1. This is incredibly sad. I sobbed watching his dad’s video. He was an oddball and wanted to be accepted. He found his group with YouTube. Fuck haters, sickos, and trolls

  2. What a bummer – Josh was unintentionally hilarious and I had a good time watching his earlier videos.

    The classic hair-dying video was a favorite, also the time someone sent him a glitter bomb disguised as a fancy cigar.

    It’s so sad that his last video upload is of him in absolute misery; all the warning signs were there that he needed emergency medical attention, too.

    I actually just watched a few edits of recent streams and he wasn’t doing well (relatively speaking of course)

    He was getting sent handles of cheap vodka and everclear from DoorDash “fans” during every stream, while also talking about how much he knew he needed to cut down on his drinking.

    Sad stuff but not entirely unexpected. He was on another level lately.

  12. This really hits hard. He had a rough life and had issues, but he was honestly so charming and charismatic. RIP to the true wizard king.

    He was so funny but in the best, most unintentional way. I will truly miss keeping up with his life. I really thought he might one day just turn it all around.

  21. I’ve been a fan of Josh since he had 2k subs. The Josh cult was mean, he basically became a whipping post for unhappy people. Josh at the center was warm and loving and desired nothing more than to be happy. I watched him and felt so much love for him and understood how difficult his life was with his autism, he gave me so many good laughs and so much entertainment for years, sometimes very hard to watch when others were actively trying to destroy him. I even bought one of his wands for my girlfriend at the time as we were both fans.

    I’ll be thinking about you Josh. I’m glad you’ve moved on to better places. Much love!

  29. Of all the degenerate lolcows, King Cobra at least seemed like he was an alright guy underneath the alcoholism. He didn’t have any noncing scandals as far as I’m aware.

  36. Honestly surprised by how many outlets are sharing about his passing.

    When I first started watching his videos in 2020, it was a relatively niche community and mostly all good natured folks. That definitely changed once he went viral on TikTok and the people that started watching were much more malicious. They would do nothing but glass tap and feed into his vices send booze and other substances like duster knowing he’d do anything to get a buzz.

    Definitely took a lot darker turn especially the last 2 years and the writing has been on the wall for a while, but wasn’t prepared for him to pass so early. The trolls really started to get to him the last few years and I really think he’d be to humbled to see how many folks who weren’t trolls that actually have deep affection for the goober.

    I always thought him referring to himself as a “rockstar YouTuber” was completely delusional, but the jokes on me considering the outpour of folks who actually cared about the guy they watched on YouTube regularly for years – myself included.
