Just like in Iraq with IEDs, MRAPs are a lifesaver in Ukraine against drone attacks.
Slava Ukraini
Saw recently on a military website about the U.S. military going in the direction of smaller all terrain vehicles that have no armor, no solid sides for weather protection, only a light weight roof. The claim is that since they’re faster on all (they say “all”) terrains that they’re better than MRAP’s that go slow. This video, and others like it, seem to indicate more is better when it comes to armor in a transport vehicle. I’d like to hear the opinions of those who served in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Another reminder that Ukraine has to get as many APCs as the west can send. It’s no use if they’re sitting in the californian desert protecting nothing but dust. They should make a difference on the battlefield. Russia only uses mopeds and scooby doo vans and burns through their troops. Those APCs have to keep coming.
Reminds me when Christine arrives back at the garage still smoking
these vehicles save lives every day!
Ha! This brings back memories. They are tough and can take a hell of a hit. Glad to see them doing some good.
Still runs and drives in a straight line. Not bad!
Great Job, stay safe!
