   Major Bondar was born in 1979, and his death has been publicly acknowledged by the Ukrainian Air Force, which also expressed condolences to his family and comrades.

3. If it’s under investigation how can you say crashed and not shot down? 

   Losing way too many planes to “crashes” recently.

5. Sadly this can’t be helped with these old airframes in high tempo combat. The fact that they lasted this long is a testament to the skills of Ukrainian maintenance crews.
