  12. Since trump met with putin a week ago, National Security Council members have been fired, intelligence budget slashed, NSA Russia expert fired. This is in addition to Gabbard firing over a hundred NSC officials in recent months.

    trump’s National Security Advisor was forced out after the Signalgate fiasco. Currently, that job is being handled by Rubio. The US does not currently have a dedicated National Security Advisor.

    In addition to the purge of the National Security Council, the Department of Justice has two high-ranking officials who are Russian assets. Ed Martin and Michael Caputo. Keep in mind, the DoJ is responsible for conducting counterintelligence operations against Russian agents. Instead of defending against them, trump is employing them.

    And on the cybersecurity front, in 2017 Agent Krasnov attempted to set up a joint cybersecurity operation with Russia, but was widely ridiculed. This year, trump ended cybersecurity operations against Russia. The US is a vassal state.

  15. My take on this is that we are not a democracy any more. Best we can hope for is a liberal leaning takeover that enforces its long term stability. Dems if they are able, need to get in office and build a wall that keeps these fascist assholes out. They’ve done this before – 30-70 – with control of the house. If not, we will be controlled by an outside power. Learn from history. Stop ignoring it.

It all feels like a big Netflix subscription where we have to keep paying even more and then they delete 95% of their library and promise to delete even more by the end of the year with no replacements. Yet His Holiness our Supreme Leader in Perpetuity spends billions on the stupidest things like golf trips and parades. Even the Nazis at least spent money on infrastructure, research and development programs. I cannot think of another time in history where such a stupid government existed on such a large scale
