Türkiye is ready to join the post-war demining of the Black Sea. Ankara is also considering sending troops to Ukraine as part of security guarantees, said Ukraine’s Ambassador to Türkiye Nariman Dzhelyal, APA reports citing RBC Ukraine.

Dzhyelal, said he had met yesterday with Türkiye’s Minister of Defense, Yaşar Güler, and described the conversation as very productive. He added that Türkiye is ready to join Black Sea demining in the near future.

Beyond maritime demining, Türkiye is also reviewing proposals to take part in humanitarian civilian land demining. Dzhyelal noted that Türkiye is one of ten countries potentially ready to send troops to Ukraine as part of broader security guarantees. He welcomed these steps as a positive signal of support.
