EUR / USD is in positive terrain, earning +0.91%. Gold is up +0.96% at 3,370.8 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a timid gain of +0.23%.
The Spread improves, shedding -2 basis points to settle at +88 BPs, while the Italian 10-year BTP yield is at +3.52%.
Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.29%, it’s a stalemate for London, which is trading around the flatline, and Paris makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.4%).
The Milanese stock exchange closes slightly higher, with the FTSE MIB rising +0.69% to 43,310 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share delivers positive performance, finishing +0.71% up over the previous close.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is buoyed by fresh buying, up +0.94%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star puts in a good performance (+1.29%).
Stmicroelectronics (+4.67%), Stellantis (+4.23%), Azimut (+2.97%) and Prysmian (+2.61%) top the ranks of Milan’s large-caps.
