The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team recorded a convincing victory over Belgium in a friendly match, winning 90:74.
After this game, both teams will head to EuroBasket, which will begin on Wednesday, August 27.
Belgium played very well in the first quarter, managing to maintain a slight lead, and after ten minutes, they were ahead 22-20. However, the hosts delivered an excellent second quarter, quickly building a commanding advantage. By halftime, Bosnia and Herzegovina led 49-34. In the second half, the team coached from the bench by Adis Beciragic maintained the lead without any problems and ultimately secured an easy victory.
The top scorer for the winning team was Jusuf Nurkic with 25 points, followed by Kenan Kamenjas with 19 points. Edin Atic also had a strong performance, scoring 15 points, while Adin Vrabac added 13 points.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will be in Group C at EuroBasket, facing Spain, Italy, Georgia, Cyprus, and Greece. Meanwhile, Belgium has been placed in Group D, where they will compete against France, Slovenia, Iceland, Israel, and Poland.
