Since Bower’s revelations, Alex Rayner – who has been friends with Harry for more than a decade – recently stepped forward to defend Meghan. In a conversation with The Daily Mail regarding Meghan’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan, he suggested that Britons might be “too cynical.”
Elaborating on his point, he said, “I’d argue it’s made for the American market, maybe a little bit more than for us. We’re a little bit more cynical.
“For us, we’re about old Mrs Miggins over the Aga doing her marmalade. Whereas, in America, they’re a little bit more classy about it. They want a bit more.”
