Migrant hotels told to house foreign criminals

2. As a second generation immigrant, this is absolutely bonkers. The West needs to get its act together, and fast. I don’t want this place to become the same hellhole my family fled.

3. The truth slowly starts to emerge but only when forced to admit what is happening and not by choice. I wonder why?

5. Actually reading the ridiculously partisan hack article (alongside reliable grown-up sources) reveals that there are going to be some ex-prisoner foreign nationals staying in hotels prior to deportation.

7. Labour are really like “Hey public watch us dig this hole even deeper. We are gonna be able to tunnel all the way to Pakistan with how much we are misreading in the room.”

8. Nobody was told to house anybody. The government told the hotels who was going to be staying there, what the requirements are and the precautions to take. The hotel owners did a collective shrug, worked out how much to charge to make it profitable and acted the in the best needs of the business.

   If housing asylum seekers was not in the best interests of the business they wouldn’t be there. Or the price for them to stay would be so high that it would be damaging for the government to pay that much from the public purse.
