I’ve always had this doubt myself… what’s the load capacity of the welfare state when you open it to people outside your own nationality?
I mean you can predict what’s your overall cost because you have a finite and well known number of citizens. But when you open your borders, how many people can live off of your welfare?

I agree with Merz. Thats why I propose we cut the remuneration of german politicians by at least 75% and the social security after retirement by around 90%.
They barely work, fuck up whatever they do and still get paid 12.000 per month.
And it’s not because Germans are using it, I had to sign on for 2 months when I was switching jobs and I can tell you, in East Germany, the job centre had hardly any Germans in it, all Ausländers. When it’s like that in East Germany I can only imagine it’s worse in the West. Ausländers that haven’t worked shouldn’t be getting financed at the tax payers expense. Refugees are different, migrants should be able to support themselves if they want to come here.

If only there was a leader in this world who has had tremendous success shrinking the size of government and stimulating economic growth. Or as the Chancellor put it: “He’s ruining the country”. Don’t be fooled by Merz being a “conservative”. I don’t trust him to draw the right conclusions from his obviously true observation.
