> So it was tough for him to reshoot the ending of the movie more than half a year later, after test audiences wanted something other than what had been captured, he explained this month during a cast reunion at Fan Expo Chicago.
> “Puberty kicked in for me,” Hall said. “I was a foot taller and like a different kid.”
> He added dryly, “Guess who pointed the s— out right away and made me feel really good about it on set.”
> The answer, of course, was Chevy Chase, who’d been part of the original cast of Saturday Night Live and was known for his wicked sense of humor.
Weren’t they friends later though? I remember AMH appearing on Community with Chevy?
From what I have read about Chase off-camera, “wicked” isn’t the term to use. “Mean” might be a better word.
Evil dies tonight!!
I’m beginning to think Chevy Chase might be a bit of a jerk.
Hold on, let me add it to the “*Chevy Chase is a dick*” pile. (Grabs 20 foot ladder)
Now I’m not saying Chevy isn’t a dick. But for those that didn’t read the article, this took place at an event where Chase was present as well:
But Hall didn’t harbor any hard feelings.
“This is why I love being your son for 40 years,” he told Chase. “I love you.”
It was all done in fun. Read the article.

Let’s see who didn’t read the article.

The headline makes it seem like Anthony is upset about it, but he’s not. They were both laughing about it.
I was at that panel, and it was incredibly awkward around Chevy the entire time.
He had to have every question repeated to him, got pissed whenever someone else was asked a question, and the rest of the cast was trying their best to keep the panel on the rails. Including flattery of Chevy.
Funny thing is AMH has grown up to play jerks.
The amount of people who didn’t read the article and are making judgments really just shows how ignorant people are. If you only read headlines then you’re the problem with misinformation
Why the use of “mock” in the title? While Chevy Chase is far from a cherub, reading the article I didn’t catch anything but some light banter that everyone laughed about. Anthony Micheal Hall even goes on about how what Chevy said made him feel good on set.
shouldn’t have drank all the beer, Rusty
I don’t believe this story because Anthony Michael Hall didn’t go through puberty till 2003.
When you’re the subject of a roast, the roasters are supposed to be your friends. But at Chase’s roast it was just a panel of insult comics, none of whom considered him a friend, because he has no friends. That’s how miserable of a person he is.
Do you remember the movie where you raped an unconscious girl for laughs?
He’s a known dickhead so that tracks
Chevy Chase is a known asshole
So you’re saying Chevy Chase is an asshole?
Did find it odd in the episodes of Community Anthony did guest spots in they didn’t have him interact with Chevy on camera at all. Probably never in the same room. Makes sense now
I lived near him in Westchester and never heard anything nice about him the general impression was he was sort of an ass.
Chevy has been as asshole for decades nothing new
I’ve heard several stories about that guy over the years, and I have never heard a story about CC being a decent human
