Shortly before the deadline, the winner of the lottery in Slovenia is announced, he draws the prize of 37 million euros

The lucky Slovenian, who won the Eurojackpot in the amount of 23 million euros on May 37, has withdrawn his prize, one day before the deadline. He had paid for the lottery ticket at a point of sale in Kranj.

After paying 15 percent tax, he will receive a total of 31.742.801,29 euros, while the municipality where he lives will add 5.601.670,81 euros to the budget. This is otherwise the second largest lottery win ever in Slovenia, Slovenian media write.

For Slovenia, kz is the eighth Eurojackpot millionaire in total.

This prize was drawn just 13 months after the 60 million Eurojackpot, which is considered the biggest prize in Slovenia.
