  5. This is a policy that works very well in countries like Dubai. They have colossal amounts of immigration but are way safer and more productive than UK because immigrants come to work, receive no benefits and have no easy path to citizenship

  7. Prioritise the right kind of British citizens no doubt.

    “We’ll have two tiers, Lesser British and True British. We meant it for brown people, but let’s just put the poors and the invalids in there anyway.”

    No doubt some deluded soul will come screaming in to defend this.

  11. I wonder if this would result in employers choosing to exploit underpaid migrants instead of employing British workers if the migrants have fewer rights

    I mean he’s already suggested that we set up camps to concentrate asylum seekers in.

    When are we (the British public) gonna look at the facts and stop blaming immigrants for our governments failings, this wave of immigration is a symptom of the exact type of government farage represents. Stopping immigration will only exacerbate Britains issues. Things are gonna get a hell of a lot worse if we don’t stop voting to see those we don’t like suffer.

  18. When you create a two tier system to protect the “British” you give leave for the state to define what “British” is.

    Today it’s white, British born. Tomorrow it’s people of a certain social class, next week it’s the elites who pay most to the party

  24. Any policy that starts with “plans to scrap the human rights act” should make everyone concerned, regardless of nationality. It’s very much a “first they came for them” scenario. This has nothing to do with citizenship vs visa btw, the rights citizenship hives you are very different from the fundamental rights given by the human rights act. And do you honestly not think the two tier system isnt next going to extend to “citizens, not not born in Britain” and so on?

  25. I am genuinely concerned by any bill that includes removal of human rights legislation.

    Even if you believe it is being misused, is it not better to pass different legislation / amend bills to fit current needs rather than removing rights from all people.

    It may seem well and good to get rid of them to deal with one issue, but what happens when ‘British’ people who also need those human rights are lacking in legislative defence
