  10. Before the MAGAts come in here spreading their lies. Here are the important facts of the case:

    * She has been convicted of no crimes
    * No criminal charges have been filed
    * The mortgage issue could very well have been an error in good faith
    * She publicly declared the supposedly fraudulent mortgages in ethics paperwork (which undermines the *mens rea* necessary for criminal mortgage fraud)

    Of note… This is a similar charge to what Trump was found guilty of; except Trump tripled the square footage of a property being used as collateral to get better interest rates defrauding the banks giving the loans by millions of dollars.

  13. I love how they actually thought making executive decree number 66 type anouncement, it would scare her into just not showing up (which is what rtheywanted). Everyone is calling his bluff now, and that needs to stay that way.

    By staying, she is forcing them to prove what legal standing they had to fire her in the first place. He did the same dumb shit with Jerome Powell, and he basically retorted with “im not fucking leaving!” wolf of wall street style

  15. He’s removing her from office for making fraudulent statements to induce better terms on a property loan…. which is exactly the same charge Trump and Trump Org were found liable of in the State of New York. If this is such a problem for her, Trump should also resign.

  25. SCOTUS carved out the Fed as an exception to independent agencies for which Trump can fire people for no reason. However he still has the power to remove people for cause. He is abusing that here by merely accusing someone of fraud (and relatively minor issue at that) and then claiming that this is cause. SCOTUS should slap him down hard on that. However they probably will not because they are long captured.
