Sarah Ferguson has posted new photographs of Queen Elizabeth II’s dogs who have lived with her and her ex-husband Prince Andrew since the late monarch’s death in 2022. To mark International Dog Day, the Duchess of York has shared two photographs with the corgis, called Sandy and Muick.
The corgis belonged to the late Queen and gave her companionship in her later years, with Andrew, 65, and Sarah, 65, taking care of them after her death. It is believed Prince Andrew, the late Queen’s son, had originally given the dogs to his mother as a gift.
In the new photographs, Sandy and Muick can be seen looking well as they stand on a tree log next to Sarah Ferguson in one picture.
Commenting on her recent post today, one fan wrote: “How nice to see the royal corgis.”
Another said: “Beautiful photos! I’m very happy that Queen Elizabeth’s dogs are so well cared for by you.”
Someone else said: “The corgis are thriving under your love and care.”
