  1. Congratulations! The Random Cat Allocation Process has selected you to recieve 1 (one) cat.

Didn’t you realise that this is how you get a cat?

No one buys a cat, they just appear one day and you then have a cat.

  2. Half an hour? I’d befriend it pick it up and out the front door lol

  3. At 1am this morning the wife woke me up to say the car wouldn’t start (she starts work early) I jumped the car got back into bed and couldn’t get back to sleep, I was in work for 5:30am and I have just walked back into the house now with a note saying can you walk the dog please I was too tired to walk him……first thing I see on Reddit is this post and I thought someone els had a shit start to the day as well

  4. Once had this with a seagull in the bathroom.

A cat I think I’d just cuddle up with.

I’ve also just remembered that my mum left me and a friend to deal with it. We were around 10 and 11…

  5. I’d end up with my crows if I left my window wide enough for them to get in

  6. A cat got into our house one night, when I was a kid. However, the problem was, we had a dog. Upon detecting the cat, the dog subsequently went nuts.

No cats or dogs were harmed though!

  7. Out of all the animals to enter a house, you’d think a cat would be the one that wouldn’t take half an hour

  8. Should have kept it. 🤭

Glad it was just a cat, do your windows not have security locks?

I wouldn’t dare leave mine open without any security locks. 😱

  9. A friend of mine and my housemates came to visit us a few years ago. He stayed with us for a week but we still had to go out to work etc.

One day I get a message from him…”Did one of you shit in the shower? There’s a shit, in the shower”.

I was cracking up while me and my housemate were vehemently denying it.

An hour later he messages back to say a random cat was running around the place after jumping in through the window. We worked out pretty quickly it was cat shit.

  10. I wake up for work at half 4, one morning last month, my alarm went off I got up then as I’m trying to get out of bed I suddenly had a cat in my room meowing to properly eat. No idea who’s cat it was. So I got up and let it out the front door lol it must of jumped in though the window but there’s no ledge or any platform…. Spider cat maybe

  11. When I was living with family at 13, a cat got into the house at night. Must’ve been at around 12. I fed him and swaddled him with blankets on the sofa, then woke up my mum up at 6 to tell her, and she promptly tried to kick him out. Sulked for a bit until I noticed a flea on my arm hair.

But it’s less likely that you’ll have fleas if you haven’t let it roam around the house for several hours 😂

  12. This looks a lot like my old house and a lot like the cat who used to break in, sneak up behind, and scare the living bejesus out of me.

  13. Few weeks ago I had a bat fly into my room just as I was drifting off to sleep. That was exciting

  14. Do you not like cats? Personally I would have left it, it would either settle down and you could let it out in the morning or if it wanted to go out before then it would soon let you know.

  15. It probably would have taken a lot less time if you put your phone down.

  16. A random cat walked into my living room for just a few minutes. Apparently long enough to infest my house with fleas that proved incredibly difficult to get rid of. I hate cats.

  17. Free Pet?
    How old is daughter?
I think I would have locked the window if it’d woken me up and then I’d have plotted ways to keep the cat without the rents finding out… which is probably why this never happened to me as a kid 😉
