  1. Austria, could you please be bad at economics and go beyond Spain’s 106%? We’re this close to build the ULTIMATE ALLIANCE

  2. Meanwhile Barry and fake-Pierre are trying to not draw attentions.

  3. Why is it that Scandinavia (and the Dutch) always is the best? (per capita)

  4. Debt to GDP is just part of the story.

The increase in debt to GDP is currently the bigger story, and why France is in such trouble.

France actually has realtively solid growth (by EU standards). They’re just spending way too much on…well everything.

Italy, while having a higher debt burden and lower growth, has a more balanced budget than France.

Same with Greece, which actually has a balanced budget + growth (and hence is on a road to recovery).

  5. I believe we forgot about the German „Sondervermögen“ which are also nothing else than dept. This way we should be at around 80% if I remember correctly.

Anyway still better than we make ourselves look like. There is no day I don’t hear talk about „Our demographic is so bad. Pensions won’t work anymore and we don’t have the money to subsidize.“. Seems we still have.

  6. Genuinely curious how we’re at 75% and orange, whereas Hungary is at 75% and green.

  7. How tf is Russia so low when they’ve been sanctioned to hell and spending billions on putins war

  8. I don’t mind being PIGS. The friends we have in the group are better anyway. The women are prettier and the food is also better. Awesome parties as well. What’s not to like?

  9. We should really think about PIGS legacy. I think we could have interesting perspectives.

  10. Respect to Italy and Greece for taking this a shade darker than the usual bright red

  11. Fucking Ukraine is at war and still owes less than my country WHAT THE FUCK

  12. God fucking dammit, the one time it would be nice to be in the Balkans in these maps

  13. Just wait until Eurostat figures out where we’re creatively putting our debt to not count towards the ratio.
