Days 3-4 so glad it was nearly over.
From Bryn Bwch Camp we headed down towards the four falls trail and behind the Sgwd yr Eira Waterfall. Then heading back up and hitting the village of Penderyn
Continuing up a little road and through the back of an old quarry and up the hill before navigating the way down towards the main road and crossing the dam before entering camp.
Fortunately at that point I had been sun burnt on part of my arm. (Though the skin got irritated during the night…) This was also the evening we had to give a presentation. Seeing as our main jobs are focused on the railway we did a topic of the historical railway of the surrounding areas. Vice to say that went quite well
The last Day. Packed up early and headed out and we were all looking forward to getting to the station and heading home. Navigating the Taff Trail descending down into the town of Merthyr Tydfil. Crossing around into the big Tesco and the train station and it all happily ended.
Honestly whilst i dreaded it. This was a nice experience exploring a beautiful part of wales for my DofE. Wouldn’t go back to it but happily can say I did it!

The walk back from the waterfall is a killer but its soo worth it. Congrats
Great photos! Where was number 11 taken, is that Llwyn-on?
Is it me or is the greenness of the Welsh countryside particularly vivid. I’m a couple of miles down the road and I swear the greens look especially powerful right now.
Maybe I’m just in the right mood to enjoy it all more than before🤷♂️
