True story: Have an extremely conservative family member who is a Republican delegate and discussions years ago completely denied global warming 1000%, but I asked if they believed in climate change caused by humans seconds later and they said yes.

As a gun owner myself, it’s a no-brainer to me that common sense gun regulations are the only way that kids stop dying from mass shootings. *FULL STOP*. I don’t care what your justifications are for owning ARs, AKs, etc, you’re *WRONG*. I can defend my home and my person with a shotgun and a 6-or-7-round pistol. If you can’t, you don’t have any business owning a firearm. ANY semi-auto firearm capable of accepting high-capacity magazines, as well as the magazines themselves, should fall under the same ATF regulations as fully automatic weapons and silencers. (Notice I didn’t use the word “BAN” once) There is no justification for people being able to access high-capacity weapons without proper vetting and registration, and not a single mass shooter has ever had that type of vetting done. I was an NRA member until LaPierre started valuing gun sales and memberships over the lives of children. For fuck’s sake – what if it was YOUR CHILD who got their life taken away? If that happened to you and you still wouldn’t budge on your militia/hero fantasies, then you’re an evil motherfucker and you deserve to be locked away. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!!! KIDS CAN’T KEEP GETTING MURDERED TO ENABLE YOUR FUCKING COSPLAY HOBBY!!!
