  1. “‘ere mate. Wha’ football team do ye support?”

    “Tranmere Rovers.”

“Spoofin’ bastard. There’s no such team.”

  2. And not too long later British soldiers were shooting unarmed men, women and children at peaceful marches.

  3. Those children are braver than any of the cowards in the British army who would have happily shot them in the back

  4. I still remeber growing up in the 90s and going to them, here mate can i see through your gun.

  5. And like true British gentlemen, they did nothing, cause they are just stupid kids acting out what their parents taught them.

  6. What was the longterm plan for unionism. Was it dominiation and supremacy forever.. Was it genuine ignorance or no interest in understanding the opression and problems of the catholic side, was it historical and internal propaganda telling them that this was OK. Does it have commonality with other colonial movements. How much of it was internal and how much was propagated by UK establishment….

like Britain itself had become a fairly integrated peaceful place despite 100s of years of turmoil.. NI along with republic had beneffited a lot from various acts over the yers.. Catholid emancipation, voting reform, education imrpoveents. What was the gap that allowed NI to continue with its opression and sideline those improvements.

  7. Kinda dubious posting this material like it’s benign, whimsical Kodachrome seaside nostalgia.

    You do you.
