1. Canada should do the same in regard to their treatment of indigenous Americans in the 20th century.

2. It’s intresting how European colonialists always seemed to discover two obsessions overseas “civilizing” people and controlling their wombs.

   From the forced sterilizations of Sámi women in Sweden to Canada’s programs against Indigenous women, to the US doing it to Puerto Ricans in the 20th century everywhere they went suddenly the problem was that the locals might have too many children.

   Funny how the cure for poverty and oppression is always fewer of the oppressed never fewer of the oppressors.
