    Yes, saying that doesn’t directly help (…informing people The Guardian is Liberal not leftist may, tho), but we know that, it’s not the point. Going to a protest, including doing the talking to people in person, doesn’t directly help, either. I don’t think that makes the public opinion shift from the spread of information meaningless, and politicians are supposed to work for us, not the other way around. When we can see they’re the worst people who don’t, the answer is not a sense of crushing inevitability.

    How much would we have seen from Gaza, especially early on, without social media? Were the BBC actually going to explain the history *honestly*, like the people sharing explanations and links to documentaries? For the trad. Labour left here (like Nye Bevan and his library), knowledge really did, for a brief moment in time, translate to power. Don’t let them forget it.

  2. An article about Gaza that mentions “the worst people in the world” but doesn’t mention Hamas. It’s very Marina Hyde to not consider a bunch of slaving, murdering cowardly, rapists as being not as bad as Trump.
