He was so brilliant in the original adaptation of IT, I rewatched it recently and he really stood out, he reminded me of River Phoenix in stand by me where you can see the depth and sensitivity in the character. All the kids in both versions of IT are really good.
Oh man, I had such a crush on him. So sad.
It’s so strange of how many celebrities die at that age
So so heartbreaking
Sidekicks is still one of my favorites. RIP.
Another member of the 27 club.
This one still stings particularly bad, I don’t know why
A few years had passed before I had learned of his death. I got hooked on him through his movies (I liked his version of ‘Bastian’ better, sorry), and eventually seaQuest (which is still a favorite of mine).
Between him and River Phoenix, I often wonder what their careers would be like today if they had not passed away.
His dad was the Pepperidge farms delivery guy for the store I worked at. He had told everyone his son was taking acting classes. Then one day he was putting the cookies on the shelf and announced he had quit his job. His son was cast in a movie with Rodney Dangerfield (Ladybugs) and the son was going to be a big star. He outlived his son 😢
I didn’t realize he was Bastion.
Ladybugs was such a great movie.
Darwin love Lucas 🐬❤️
I think in my mind I had combined him with Jeff Fahey. Like I thought that’s who he had grown up to be.
Thanks for making us sad about this again, People! 😢
Why is this twenty-two year old story published like it’s a current event?
I loved his voice acting work in the Aladdin TV series as Mozenrath.
He was so talented. Awful loss.
Rodney Dangerfields white?!?!
OP karma-farming a celebrity’s death is gross.
I had the biggest crush on him in Neverending Story 2
I saw this pop up on Apple News. Why is this a story today?
I thought he died younger than 27. seaQuest was a family staple and I was sad when my mom told me that he had died.
The crush I had on this boy in Sidekicks. Such a loss
The tv/movie biz is already insanely demanding on people, I can’t imagine how bad it can be for someone with mental issues that may be outside of their control (genetic or hormonal imbalances that can’t be managed with just therapy).
I just rewatched the original IT. This is crazy to learn
