  3. I don’t think Vance has the charisma to capture the minds of the MAGA cult members. They are loyal to Trump and Trump only. Once Trump dies, I predict they will destroy themselves fighting over a ‘replacement’.

  9. There will be celebrations, world wide. The GOP will somehow feign ignorance to how bad Trump actually was, will flip the script to saying “how could we know”. The base will eat it up and somehow also claim they got swindled despite the overwhelming *everything*. It will go back to how it was, despite all our wishes to never go back completely. However, he will be gone and so will the cult of personality and for that alone is one of the greatest things to happen for the world. Vance doesn’t have the charisma and will fail spectacularly. They will all say “if Trump was alive etc” even though he’s the reason the bad things have happened, and Vance will have to take it all. All the blame. Only years later after the undisputed evidence of Trump being a pedophile reaches the right person in their cult, will they realize their mistake and then somehow, act like they’re a victim.

    Between the 2, I’d pick Vance over Johnson. A uncharismatic puppet of his billionaire owner/lover (Theil is infamous for that exact behavior) is preferable over a zealot cult member that looks at a hand maiden’s tale as a blueprint for the future.
