I love how we have gotten to see Louise grow up into the cool and seemingly confident young woman she has become. It has been enjoyable to see someone who seems so stable and relatively normal raised by that family. I wonder if she is actually, like, chill and fun like she seems, but since horses really sniff out any sort of reluctance or self-doubt, I kind of assume they broke her of most of that since she is so good with them.
That brings up a kind of interesting thought for me – Zara and Anne are also horsey and seem to be confident in who they are. I wonder how much being good with horses played into that.
I’d actually love to hear the three women talk about their lives growing up around horses. I wonder if they had to muck their own stalls and feed and care for their own horses at 5am before school or work like people who don’t or can’t afford to stable their horses – because those are the times when you get to know a horse and earn their trust, imo.
