  1. > “Forgiveness is still an evolving thing,” he says. “I still get what I call the ‘shame shivers.’ These are the moments that hit me, of the heinous memories and choices and consequences. They’re getting farther in between, so I guess that’s progress. What has been interesting about making amends is that most people have been like, ‘Hey yeah, we’re good man, but we hope you’ve also forgiven yourself.’”

  2. Matthew Perry also thought that still being alive was a miracle until he died.

  3. So Hollywood is cooking a Charlie Sheen comeback, huh?

  4. I still firmly believe how everyone thought his whole “Tiger blood” thing was so entertaining was a warning sign that the Trump era was coming

  5. Everytime I hear about Charlie Sheen I think of him flipping a
Toothpick in his mouth from Ferris Bueller

  6. I can confirm. I used to shoot heroin and cocaine like Charlie. I could not afford 7 gram rocks though.

Shame shivers are a subgenre of cringe shivers. Most prevalent when you’re trying to fall asleep at night and make you groan and flip to your other side.

The only cure is time. You have to live life for awhile without being a piece of shit, and that’s pretty easy when you’re not using drugs anymore.

  7. I absolutely LOVED Charlie Sheen as a child. I thought 2 1/2 men was garbage, but so what?

But abusing the system and everyone in it for over a decade, including violence and STD transmission, which are literally jailable offenses…do we have to forgive everything? Can’t we just wish someone well, and not have to ever pay money to see them again?

  8. Living through his winning era was the epitome of “you had to be there”, it was true history

  9. What a strong man. He’s managed to forgive himself for being a total piece of shit to everyone around him. Must have that Trump courage. Fucking douche bag.

  10. I remember I saw posters for sale during his meltdown.

    “#ImBiWinning

  11. For the life of me, I thought he had died a few years ago.

That’s the Mandela effect hitting me hard

  12. “Oh poor me, I feel bad” fuck off dipshit maybe make an honest effort to correct what you did wrong and you’ll actually feel better.

  13. All of these monsters are emerging from the shadows for their comebacks because Trump has proved that our tolerance for grape and abuse of women and children has no limit. This guy was a world class abuser and addict. He was given the world on a platter and took a dump on it. Now, we are supposed to feel bad for him because he is ashamed of what he did for years when he was a grown man with status and money? 😔

  14. I already posted this on another comment, but I’m just not buying into the rape accusations.

Corey Feldman has notoriously never shared anything with actual weight from his supposed “insider knowledge.” I have so much sympathy for the story of the two Corey’s, but Feldman has been dragging Haim through the mud ever since he passed away and pinned every claim of the abuse on Haim. He rarely talks about himself, it’s always “This happened to Haim, that happened to Haim.”

In the case of Charlie Sheen: Haim’s own mother claimed Sheen never did anything to him. Plus the allegations came at a time when Sheen was at his lowest and Feldman was at his most pressured to actually name a name because people slowly turned on him.

Downvote me into oblivion, Corey Feldman is not a reliable source and I’m not buying it. And other than “Platoon” being a great movie I don’t even care about Charlie Sheen.

  15. If i recall as a youngster, he seriously embraced, enjoyed, and marketed his “winning” era behavior.

Maybe people can change but he was so far gone.

  16. Ill never forget his #Winning and #7gramrocks lol

  17. He’d make a killing dropping a tiger blood drink right now

  18. Leave us alone, man. Just start a fruit juice business or whatever.

  19. He’s on a PR campaign to refurbish his image so he can get work. This guy has not changed. Ask your daughters for forgiveness, not yourself!

  20. Huh, I never heard the term “shame shivers” before, but I know exactly what he’s talking about.

  21. Shame Shivers, Ive always called that “Douche Chills”

  22. TIL: ‘Shame Shivers’

Yeah, followed by loud groaning and a warding off hand gesture. All the time. (Not related to drugs though).

  23. I wonder if anyone else recognized the 60s “shame shivers” remembering stuff you’ve done in the past

I get them all day long now even when I didn’t feel any shame at all at the time

  24. There was a moment in time, a decade or so ago, when he started talking about tiger’s blood and became the center of attention again. Then, I believe it was, the Japanese earthquake/tsunami disaster hit and the media turned its focus to something actually important.

  25. As someone who is 6 months sober, one of the parts I’ve struggled with the most is self-forgiveness. I find myself cringing at the things I did and people I hurt with my addiction, but you can only control how you move forward, no matter how badly you wish you could go back and do things differently.

  26. I was newly clean when Charlie was going on his tiger’s blood rants. I needed that in my life at the time lol 15 years off oxy and cocaine this year. Still get shame shivers though…
