  5. Mace is a victim of sexual assault herself, so I’ll take her at her word that she found these victims’ stories personally affecting.

    But I’m very curious how she squares her (I’ll assume genuine) empathy with these victims with the fact that the leader of her party has recently downgraded one of their assailants to a minimum security prison, to say nothing of his friendship and personal ties to their primary assailant.

  7. I worry these committees are just getting off on the accounts. They know Trump was involved. They all know. They do nothing so I can only imagine they enjoy making the victims recount their ordeals.

You know the thing that’s really stupid is that Trump redacted his name from the files but just redacting your name means that every time you see a point where it’s been redacted you know who the person is who did that thing unless of course they struck all the witness testimony that referred to Trump at which point they’ve destroyed evidence
