  2. I think it’s funny how Starmer and the press tried to trash Farage over his US visit.
    The complaints about him not being in parliament to listen to their speeches… they’re just annoyed thay Farage was spitting truths on the world stage bringing light to the dystopia in Britain.

  5. Why is he even getting platformed? They’ve got what, 3 seats? He’d shit himself if he got the top job because a) the scrutiny would unearth some seriously troubling stuff and b) he’d actually have to do some work for this country

  6. There’s some truth to the concerns being raised, but from what I saw of his time in congress, he gave a wildly overblown account because it serves him.

    It serves him because…

    -he wishes to further whip up hysteria in UK politics. He stands to benefit from the collapse of the government, as do any opposition party, so to an extent that’s normal… but in my opinion he’s going so far over the line that even his supporters should be disgusted at him. He’s showing himself to be willing to incite a breakdown in public order of that’s what it takes to advance his political career.

    – he’s maintaining his connections with powerful ultra-right wing groups in the US by continuing to play the ‘useful idiot’ to the American politicians (I use that term more from their perspective. I don’t think Farage is an idiot, I think he’s clever and ruthlessly ambitious, and that what makes him so dangerous)

    I know that most politicians do this, but it’s more about who he is willing to take money from.
