  1. Okay so that hospital has at least one murder/rapist still walking the floors. Good to know

  2. Is there a way to lawfully kill someone after a sexual assault?

    Wtf is that headline?

  3. I struggled to read this article.

    This poor woman

  4. >and it emerged that three healthcare assistants witnessed an ‘extensive and significant’ amount of blood surrounding Mrs Kneale shortly after her death.

    >An ‘overpowering and unusual smell’ in Mrs Kneale’s room was also noticeable, the court was told, but the incident was not documented and the concerns were not escalated to senior management, the inquest heard.

Hmm… I don’t know how the NHS works so won’t jump to conclusions too quickly, but is that not potentially misconduct or gross misconduct? And is there potentially something for the police to investigate here?

  5. Hospital tried to brush this under the carpet hoping nobody would notice. Same old story.

  6. I feel so sorry for this poor lady, and her family her last hours were diabolical and why no nurses walking about, we’re doors left open ,etc strange how the culprit hasn’t been caught

  7. The NHS are fucked these days, so called nurses with no real experience…..

  8. Everyone who tried to cover this up should be jailed regardless of whether or not they were the culprit. I’m sure she wasn’t the first victim of sexual abuse in the ward. This was just an escalation.

  9. I’m dumbfounded that ‘the incident was not documented and the concerns were not escalated to senior management’!!! I have worked in hospital wards and this is not normal! This is a cover up of something very sinister.

  10. Truly a sick story.

I hope the family gets a very generous payout courtesy of whoever is liable. Won’t change anything, but might make the trauma bearable.

  11. Good Lord, that poor woman.

I really don’t know what else to say.

  12. I mean, how many people were on staff that night? How many of them were men? How many of those had an alibi? You’d think the numbers of suspects would get small really fast.
