WAUSAU − The New Jobs on the Block event is scheduled to return to downtown Wausau next week.
The job fair, organized by the North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board and several partner agencies, is planned for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 11 on the 400 Block, according to a community announcement.
More than 30 businesses are expected to participate, offering job seekers a chance to explore local employment opportunities.

“This event in downtown Wausau’s premier public space offers a unique opportunity for employers and job seekers to connect,” said Lukas Lindner, business development director with the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce.
Attendees can expect interactive activities, giveaways and on-the-spot interviews. The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development will also have its mobile careers lab available.
