The military kills 11 people in strike on alleged drug boat from Venezuela

1. Why bother with international law when you can just declare terrorism and then blow up anything that moves. I thought Houthis were meant to be the bad guys?

2. I gotta say the smuggling has gotten really bad if they are making enough to pay 11 smugglers to move what ostensibly fits inside a small speedboat. It’s sad that we are past the point where parading the drugs in front of the cameras has been replaced by extrajudicial killing for PR purposes. Truly state sponsored terrorism.

3. The US military just attacked a civilian vessel operating in international waters.

   This is eleven counts of murder.

   This isn’t some Barbary War protecting shipping lanes and defending US vessels.

   This was murder.

   Extraterritorial, extrajudicial murder.

5. This is the same story from a couple of days ago (reported 9/2/25). This is not a new event that has not previously been reported. Do not think this is a 2nd boat attack in the Caribbean as it is not that.

Hey kids, anyone remember when Obama killed a 16 year old American citizen (and a Cafe full of bystanders) because his Dad had ties to a terrorist organization and when reporters confronted the Obama administration for how awful of a precident that sets where the white house can justify killing anyone at any time with no justification and no legal oversight, and the Obama admin spokesperson just gave a snide remark about raising your kids better?

   How’s that going?

7. Have we confirmed ANYTHING about this? Why was a little motorboat trying to make it across the ocean with so many people on board is that even possible? and how didn’t the boat just explode when hit? If it didn’t explode why isn’t there anyone falling overboard? The more I think about it the more I doubt its authenticity.

8. Murders. Every damn one of them. They need be arrested and put in trial. Then, after they’ve been founded guilty, they need to spend the rest of their lives in prison. 

9. This is clearly an attempt to provoke Venezuela into something which would give the US any excuse to bomb them or get involved militarily.

   We know for a fact that the US had actually drawn up war plans to go to war with Venezuela in the early 2000s and it was more or less ready to go until 9/11 changed things and Saddam Hussein became the new target, ironically saving Venezuela.

   Those plans still exist, just like those Iran plans existed since at least Obama.

   This is a good reason to take this seriously.
