Russian Drone Attacks Damage Chernihiv Region Infrastructure

As reported by the head of the Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration on his Facebook page

During the 24 hours from 08:00 on September 5 to 08:00 on September 6, drone strikes hit residential houses in three villages of the Semenivka community in Chernihiv Oblast. The information was confirmed by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration during a public briefing on the operational situation on the official page of the regional administration.

In the Koryukivsky district, the morning of September 5 brought damage to an electrical power line, requiring urgent repair and verification of power supply in nearby settlements.

According to daily operational summaries, Russian occupiers shelled Chernihiv Oblast 60 times; 106 explosions were recorded, and 22 settlements came under fire.

31 attacks were carried out using FPV drones. In Chernihiv region, Lancets, Molniyas, Geraniums, and KABs were used.

According to the information from the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration, the morning of September 5 also brought damage to critical infrastructure: 15 settlements in Novhorod-Siverskyi district were left without power.

Repair works and checks of power-supply systems are underway on-site, with monitoring of the situation and coordination of actions to address the consequences of the shelling.
