Istanbul, SANA-The first Arab-Turkish Festival of 2025 kicked off in Istanbul with the participation of Syria and several Arab countries with the aim of enhancing cultural exchange between Turkey and Arab countries.

Metin Turan, president of the Turkish-Arab Association in Istanbul, told Anadolu Agency that the festival, which kicked off last night, includes pavilions from several Arab countries, including Syria, Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco and Palestine, noting that it represents an opportunity to strengthen Arab-Turkish relations and bring peoples together.

Turan affirmed that the festival is hosting various cultural and artistic activities in cooperation with the Arab Women’s Union in Istanbul and the Turkish-Arab Art House, noting that its first event included a concert by prominent artists organized by the Turkish-Arab Music House.

Turan pointed out that one of the festival’s key themes is highlighting the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza through artistic and cultural works that embody the tragedies they are experiencing.
