  1. That’s a good slab of cheese. It’s not good for a sandwich, but hey, that cheese makes the sandwich value for money!

  2. I love cheese. It’s my favourite food by far. I don’t want chocolates or sweets or trinkets as holiday gifts, I want new types of cheese.

That is far too much cheese.

  3. How much? i’d take that home, remove the cheese, wrap it and pop it in the fridge, then have cheese for a week. I feel like buying that at the pub could save some serious money on cheese.

  4. I’d say it’s more a cheese and onion cellophane wrap.

  5. Friend, if I was handed that, I’d eat the roll, the onion, and three bites of cheese. The rest I’d rewrap, stick in my pocket, and use in my eggs for breakfast.

  6. I would down that and then ask for the same cook next week!

  7. Is this from the Bell Inn, Aldworth? I had a nearly identical cheese roll from there except the cheese was a wedge not a block

  8. Now that cheese is gonna make you thirsty… they know the game!!

  9. Landlord of the pub I worked at would sometimes make me a cheese sandwich for lunch.

His rule was the butter should be as thick as the cheese, and he didn’t skimp on the cheese 😍

  10. Last time I had a pub roll it was like 2 quid… Thats about a fivers worth of cheese alone!

    OP made money on this!

  11. Am I dull because my first thought is that they can’t possibly be charging enough so that they’re not losing money.

  12. That reminds me, I still need to find a paving slab to sit under something in my back garden.

  13. Not only is that a paving slab of cheese, the top and bottom look like they’re from different rolls.

  14. Fuckin’ hell mate, that roll gave *me* nightmares

  15. That’s a classic roll to hand to someone who is too pissed, the cheese soaks up the booze and sobers them up!
