President Zelenskyy said that the country is developing weapons cooperation with other European nations, and the first drone production line is now being established in Denmark. Similar lines will also be established in other European countries. Experts note that Ukraine and European partners complement each other in weapon production: Kyiv brings unique combat experience and flexibility, while the partners provide technology, funding, and strong manufacturing resources. Successful collaborations already exist; for example, with Denmark’s support, Ukraine produces Bohdana self-propelled guns – over 300 units – and approximately 100 Bohdana-B towed howitzers.

Another example is the German company Rheinmetall, which is partnering with Ukroboronprom to open a plant in Ukraine for 155-mm ammunition production.

Additionally, at MSPO-2025 in Poland, Ukroboronprom signed more than 10 defense cooperation agreements, and company representatives are exploring deeper aviation collaboration with Lockheed Martin, manufacturer of the F-35 fighter jet.
