💔This week, Jessie's story touched thousands of hearts! Thousands of people followed the fate of this dog who lost her owner due to the Russian shelling of Kyiv.
We received countless calls and hundreds of messages from people ready to take her in🙏
We thought long and hard about what to do next. At first, the State Emergency Service rescuers sheltered her, giving her a roof, warmth, and care. Then a true miracle happened: the son of the deceased – Roman, together with his daughter, took her into their family.
Just look into Jessie's eyes – after meeting her loved ones, her gaze shows calm, gratitude, and faith that the war could not break.🥹
Jessie is the Ukrainian Hachiko. This fluffy girl searched for her Person among the ruins, and her story could have ended tragically. But even in the darkest times, love and care prevail. And also – faith that everything will be alright. We all believed in this. Because despite the pain and suffering we have to endure, we support each other – both people and animals. And in this lies our strength.

I wonder if son has a similar smell and was accepted as family by the dog.
