  1. Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) cyber units have carried out a large-scale operation against Russia, disrupting fuel payment systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and dozens of online resources.

According to a source in the Main Intelligence Directorate who spoke to Ukrinform on September 8, Ukrainian cyber specialists launched a massive DDoS attack targeting the Russia`s network infrastructure that supports online fuel payments, including the use of fuel cards on the morning of September 7.

The attack disabled the “Advanced Payment Systems” platform, which manages RosPetrol fuel cards, as well as servers belonging to Rostelecom and Lukoil. Intelligence estimates put the financial losses for Russia at between $1 million and $3 million.

  2. Microsoft going to hire Ukraine to deal with the turtle wow servers

  3. Every news about Ukrainian success is a great news. I have a felling, that this is the ONLY country in the world, which is not afraid of standing up to Russia.

  4. > Intelligence estimates put the financial losses for Russia at between $1 million and $3 million.

Is it still the case that Russia is spending about $1 **Bn** per day on the war? If so, loss of a few **M**illions is a rounding error.

*(Old joke: the difference between a million and a billion is “about a billion”. Still true.)

  5. awww….so sad. …anyway…<checks out sports scores>

  6. Who needs fuel cards when there’s no fuel?

Luckily for many ruZZians, fuel is becoming a scarce commodity, so the cyber attack won’t have affected them!
