Colectivo LATAM, the team behind the Día de Muertos festival, is bringing Agave Fest to Prague for the first time on September 20–21, 2025.
The festival will take place at Gabriel Loci and is supported by the Mexican Embassy in the Czech Republic, highlighting growing cultural and economic connections between the two countries.
Agave Fest will offer visitors a chance to explore Mexican agave culture through tastings, workshops, and live events.
Patrón, Padre Azul, and Cocuy Saroche will host tasting sessions and masterclasses, guided by experts including Tomáš Bielčík, Paweł Hyba, Roberto “El Padrino,” and Oliver Castilla from Mezcalito in London.
There will also be an artisan market and food area with traditional crafts, handmade jewelry, and Mexican street food.
Visitors can enjoy mariachi performances, lucha libre matches, and even try a mechanical bull. Educational sessions on tequila, mezcal, and agave spirits will be led by Brand Ambassadors and Efraím “El Tequilista.”
“This festival is a bridge between Mexico and the Czech Republic,” says Roxana Velasco, founder of Agave Fest and director of Colectivo LATAM. “It’s not just about drinks — it’s about sharing Mexico’s culture, stories, and traditions. We’re grateful to the Embassy for helping make this cultural exchange possible.”
The event is also an opportunity for Mexican brands, distributors, and artisans to connect with the Czech and broader EU market.
More than 2,000 visitors, including trade professionals and spirits enthusiasts, are expected to attend, offering a chance to showcase agave-based products beyond tequila and mezcal.
