For the first time in his career, Israeli singer Idan Amadi, who stars in the popular Israeli series “Fauda,” took the stage Tuesday at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park.

Amedi told the crowd that this week marked 15 years since he first appeared on stage on the reality show “A Star Is Born,” and that his first performance afterward was at a bar in Ashkelon, where there was almost no one was in the audience.

“In these 15 years I dreamed of saying at least once, ‘Good evening, Yarkon Park,’” Amedi said.
He also continued his tradition of waving flags on stage in memory of Israel Defense Forces soldiers who have fallen in the war.
