    In a series of videos published to their Instagram, spokespeople for the GSF said an “incendiary device” caused a fire onboard the vessel, which the crew was able to extinguish.

    Tunisia’s National Guard spokesman told Mosaique FM radio that reports of a drone attack on the flotilla “have no basis in truth”, Reuters reported.

    He added that an initial inspection indicated the explosion originated inside the vessel.

  17. ¿Why is there a lot of people implying that the drone had to flew all the way from Israel? You could smuggle it and launch it from the surroundings. I’m not saying this is the case, but that argument makes no sense.

  19. I think I’d much rather believe the Tunisian Government who don’t even recognise Israel over the “social media activist” who is known to pull stunts and thrives off attention, she is exactly the type of person who would do something inflammatory to get people talking about her again.

    *As well as the fact that incendiary munitions aren’t lit before hand, only once they hit the target do they actually ignite otherwise this drone they’re claiming would’ve been burnt half to hell before making it out there.

    Their lies are becoming easier to see, Israel stands to gain nothing from this while Greta gains a lot while trying to illegally breach a legal naval blockade once again.

  20. Isn’t it more likely this was a Tunisian drone monitoring the flotilla? Would explain why Tunisia immediately jumped to the “not a drone” defence.

    From the videos, it could even be a faulty drone colliding with the vessel.

    It doesn’t do much damage or explode, so it doesn’t seem to be a weapon.

    If it was a weapon, it clearly wasn’t suitable for the purpose since it didn’t do much to a rather flimsy looking vessel. So if it really was a weapon deliberately fired, it’s use demonstrates incompetence – not something one expects from Israel.
