The Portuguese striker achieved another record. This time, equalling Guatemalan Carlos Ruiz.
The two now have 39 goals in World Cup qualifiers and are the top scorers in the history of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Haaland scored five times in Norway’s incredible 10 x 1 thrashing of Moldova.
Thelo Aasgaard, from Rangers, also shone in the match, scoring four goals.
Only the leader of each of the 12 groups in the UEFA qualifiers will have a direct spot, without the need for playoffs.
World champions France and England also achieved important results this Tuesday.
In the most anticipated match of Group K, the English managed to assert themselves and thrashed Serbia away from home by 5 x 0.
Meanwhile, the French struggled, but beat Iceland in Paris by 2 x 1.
