First seen on QEII in 1967 in Canada with the Vladimir Tiara. Last seen during the French State Visit in 2004. It’s been hiding in the vault for the last 21 years (or hopefully it is)
She was gifted the necklace by two sisters, the Godmans who inherited it from their father.
I adore emeralds! Especially rings. I’ve always wondered if the royal ladies have avoided emerald engagement rings because of the association with Wallis Simpson.
